Recently, our office has received calls and e-mails regarding the SEC's recent actions affecting shareholders of investments held by Stanford Financial Group.  In Tennessee, the Department of State does not have jurisdiction regarding these investments.  These securities are within the scope of the Securities Division of the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance.
