

With nearly 900 companies and more than 100,000 employees, auto manufacturers, suppliers and parts retailers make up a large segment of Tennessee’s economy. In March, the Secretary of State’s office is highlighting five of these businesses in its Tennessee Business Spotlight.
The Tennessee Business Spotlight is a new program featured on the Secretary of State’s web site that highlights selected companies with overviews of their products and operations including employment figures, photos, and links to their Internet and social media sites. March’s theme is “Tennessee - Wheels in Motion.”
The highlighted companies are:
“We are very fortunate in Tennessee to host many automotive manufacturers and their related suppliers, as well as the companies involved in selling and supporting the products in the after-market category,” said Secretary of State Tre Hargett. “These organizations have a dramatic economic impact on our state and employ thousands of Tennesseans. We are proud to showcase them in our Tennessee Business Spotlight program to recognize and share how these businesses create jobs and help drive our state’s economy.”
