Launch of TutorTN Gives Unicoi County Students Free Tutoring Online

Unicoi County students struggling with their homework or stumped while studying don’t have to rely on sometimes-clueless parents any more, thanks to a new online tutoring service called TutorTN.

The new service is available to Unicoi County Library users attending any level of school, from kindergarten through college. Students simply visit http://www.tutor.com/TutorTN and enter their library card numbers to connect with expert tutors for one-to-one homework help or tutoring sessions in online classrooms.

"TutorTN provides a terrific service for young people," Secretary of State Tre Hargett said. "I am pleased that we are able to offer this service for students who live in Unicoi County. If this pilot program is successful, hopefully we will be able to offer the service in other parts of the state as well."
