The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality provides short, plain language guides that discuss benefits and harms of different treatment options for a wide variety of health conditions. Topics include breathing conditions, cancer, diabetes, and many others. Guides are available in English and Spanish and can be printed. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention The Center for Disease Control & Prevention keeps an updated Travel Notices, tips for Healthy Living, and national health statistics. The National Library of Medicine is a useful resource for students and teachers in grades 9 – 12 to learn genetics.
